Colin Pickles reported that 15 plane tickets had been booked for the trip to Rome in May next year. It was noted that Country Membership was available at the reduced annual subscription rate of £10 to those former members who, having left the area, wished to remain in touch. They would be mailed regular copies of Focus. Membership Sec. Tony Rosevere reported that most previous members had renewed their membership this year. He would produce reminder slips for the few who had not yet replied. It was noted that Bill Chadband had agreed to look after the SPYDER monitor calibration system.. It was available to all members who wished to check the settings of their own monitors. Those who wished to make use of this club facility should contact Bill. Advertizing material for the next Annual Exhibition, in February, had been produced and was discussed. It was agreed that for the inter-club Digital Print competition the stipulation of 5 prints from at least three workers should remain. In view of the relative decline in the use of slides, following the increased use of digital cameras, it was agreed that we should similarly stipulate 5 slides from at least 3 workers for the inter-club digital slide competition. Tony Redford circulated a sheet detailing his initial efforts re the 2006-7 syllabus. Members, particularly committee members, were asked to give him feedback on his proposals, and suggestions for the blanks. The next committee meeting was proposed for Wednesday 25th January 2006 at the house of the President (No1 Newstead Close) |
