Arthur Barrow - in the news

Longer-standing members of NCPS will remember well the larger-than-life persona of Arthur Barrow, an enthusiastic member and one time President of North Cheshire P.S.

As an ex-guardsman, Arthur retired to the Chelsea Hospital to join the famous Chelsea Pensioners. His striking 6’6 frame has been spotted on TV more than once by his friends up here, proudly sporting the distinctive red tunic on the Remembrance Day parades past the Cenotaph.

They will be interested in this link to the BBC News Website and its photo of Arthur (in the centre of the lower picture) - proof, if proof were needed, that he is still keen to be at the forefront of modern technology.

Well done Arthur - and thanks for your continued interest and complimentary comments on our NCPS Website.
