On Tuesday 19th February Christine Widdall came to talk about the exhibition prints and slides. In the time available it was agreed that members present would choose any two prints and any two slides for Christine to comment on. The plan was to consider Prints before the interval, and Slides afterwards but because some members came late and others were busy talking when the announcement for members to select their images was made, they belatedly complained that none of their images were being considered. So some prints were considered after the interval.

A lively yet relaxed evening ensued, with Christine explaining what she liked about images and how some of them might be improved. In competitions there could only be one winner, but we could enjoy all of the images for their own particular qualities.

Though it was too late to influence her judgements the President and some members took Christine to the Grapes for a last farewell!
