| Rosalind Bramley Trophy Competition 2007 | |||||
|
This competition took place on Tuesday 22nd May and attracted a record 44 entries, due in large part to the efforts of Jonathan Bawden and Jill Hargreaves. Members were given voting slips and invited to choose their best four prints. From the results of this first round the most popular six prints were listed and members asked, as a second round, to give marks, from 0 to 5 to each these prints. From this second round marking the winning monochrome print was chosen as that with the highest total marks. The marking was close for all except the winning print, a Swannery by Martin Currie, which was clearly ahead by 8 points. The second round scores were: "Steps" Gordon Robson - 63 "Sacre Coeur Basilica" Colin Pickles - 66 "Pollution" Tony Redford - 67 "Stilt" Martin Currie - 68 "Stroll in Winter Sun" Barrie Pearson - 69 "Swannery" Martin Currie 77 |
