Committee meeting 2 December 2009

Fifteen members of the committee met at the Hazel Grove Bowling and Tennis Club for this meeting led by Roger Dye.

All the judges for the season are booked. The club has purchased DiCentra software and will be tried out at next week competition.

Most of the time was productively spent working through Bill Chadband’s list of questions and issues for the Exhibition.

The Venice Trip – 19 + 2 are going. The Keswick weekend is booked for next year i.e. 5/6th November.

4th or 11th May of the syllabus are not yet sorted. 5 speakers are booked for next season by Graham Johnston who suggested we have a speaker on the Friday of the Exhibition 2011 instead of a Musical Evening. This will be considered at a future meeting.

Graham Johnston raised the question reference the 5 year rule for images in competitions and the Exhibition. Subsequently to the meeting the Rules of the Exhibition 2009/2010 state that ‘Entries must not have been photographed more than 5 years prior to entry’. No written rule for Clubworker Competitions. The 2 year rule applies for the Rosalind Bramley Trophy.
